FUNDRAISING

Our  desire is to increase in good deeds as this is the currency in the real world – the hereafter.  Our motivation comes from our beloved leader, rosullullah, Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alay wasallam.  The message he brought us [which he demonstrated] is about how to live in the farm, called the world- the test ground, the preparation place for real life- so that you will have the best harvest. The message is about establishing good in all facet of life and places in the world.  Establishing peace. 

 In one of his sayings reported by Thawban- radhiallahu ‘anhu- he  [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam]  said

 ” the nations are about to call each other and set upon you, just as diners set upon food”.  They asked, ” will it be because of our small numbers that day?”  He  [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam]  said ” rather, on that day you will be like foam, many like the foam on the river.  And Allah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of  your enemies and will throw wahn [weakness] into your hearts”  ……… [ pls go and look up this hadith and read it to end and live by it]  { Sahih: related by Abu Dawud [no.4297], it was auhenticated by AL Albani in As Sahihah[no.958]  

So you see we  are many in numbers today but we are not making real difference.  I have decided I don’t want to be part of that numbers that’s not making difference.  So I am looking to make good use of our numbers;  I am looking to wake us up and make good difference.

 As in the history of the Muslims and the world, you don’t need multitude to achieve greats things, you need quality. One of the quality today is to take small actions regularly.  We want to use the crowdfunding principle to get a lot of people to generate a lot of money by contributing small amounts. We have design various ways to do this. 

Here is one:

Get 10 people to get 10 people to 5 generations; 

10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 =  100,000 people { of how many of us in London? and with the internet and social media of how many of us in the world?}

Get them to donate £2 each and we can raise £200, 000.  Do that every week and we will have £1M  in 5 weeks.

I am excited that just looking inwards to ourselves and not asking us to bring all of our savings or salary to the table, we can raise serious money.  It’s a shame that we have the numbers, technology and lots more that can facilitate us in doing more good deeds, yet we are just getting by and complaining more every day.
