VICEGERENTS WE ARE

Our goals and ambitions in life should be to establish ISLAM – Allah’s laws to RULE and RUN the World.  And like the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam] demonstrated, you start with a community around the Masjid.
Our work, occupations / skills are our ways to contribute to the WHEEL of LIFE ROLLING. Our goals and ambitions [ individually and collectively ] are to establish ISLAM, create a PEACEFUL world.  That’s what it means to be vicegerents on earth. 
Raise a conscious community around the Masjid.  Through the Masjid and conscious Muslims, establish Islam in the community and in the world. Our predecessor did that, the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam] did that.  Today it’s easier with the history and record of the life of the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam] as a guide.
We will work with Masajid’s and Islamic organisations to create vibrant and economically strong communities around Masjids to showcase and establish Islam in local communities.  We will suggest programmes and activities and can deliver such for them.  We are equally committed to supporting them to fund-raise for these activities generally and specifically for Masjid development and running.
The Masjid is the hub, the training ground, coordination centre for our purpose in life.  Its where we teach everybody Islam and Arabic, not just the children.  It’s where we review our progress on our goal in life and share tasks.  It’s where we organise the believers for growth and service to the Ummah.  The Imam is the head of this organisation, his role is more than just leading the solat.As we are teaching and organising services, the Masajid must be concerned about how individuals are developing for their role both at home and in the community.  The Masajid is also concerned on how they are progressing in learning and implementing the Deen in their life both at home and community contribution.Islam is for positive change for mankind, if we are not seeing this around us, we should check ourselves and how we are living Islam.  Organisational approach {as in Islamic organisation in groups} to teaching and implementing the message of the Deen  is obsolete, it has passed its usefulness because it now tends to stand in the way of implementing and / establishing   Islam.  We are ripe for what I call the MASJID approach. 
This is not new, it was the way the Prophet [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam]  did it, and that’s why in history its always about establishing Masjid in any new place the believers found themselves. The main difference is that today, our Masjid have become only prayer halls, so to say.  What is our excuse why we don’t have communities LIVING Islam and demonstrating the way of life that guarantees PEACE for all as was demonstrated by the Messenger [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam]  in Madinah, then Makkah and by the sahabahs after?  Why is it that in our supposed Muslim communities all over, why do we have the same challenges as in other communities? The simple answer is we are living like them.  Our way of life, purpose / objective is same as them, so we tend to do things in the same way. Hence our result is the same.  This is so because we are not teaching Islam and how to live as a Muslim the way our   Prophet [sallallahu ‘alay wasallam]  did. It is Muslims that will establish ISLAM, not Doctors and Engineers and Accountants.  The primary purpose in Life is to establish Islam. So the primary education is the knowledge of the purpose, objective and how to do that.  After that comes your acquisition of skills and knowledge to contribute your quota to the WHEEL OF LIFE. You can argue that why not do it simultaneously?  What are you in a hurry to go and do after? That will affect the quality and way the primary job is delivered. In history, doing it the proper way was not the cause of the demise of the Muslim Empire /Islamic rule.  It did produce Muslims that contributed significantly to civilisation. It can still do.  You know today we don’t know how we are going to avoid a likely catastrophic consequence of the artificial intelligence ( AI ) ‘game’ we are playing.  But if you have the type of mind and education, we’re talking about here, the preservation of humanity ( not just one tribe or group )  will be a fundamental principle in any endeavour.  
This is a call for us to improve on our situation, to make that an important work this time around. Our objective is to work with all organisations and Masjid anywhere in the world to create vibrant Muslim communities locally.  For our Masjid to take responsibility to nurture Muslims that will establish a peaceful community.  We are not interested in creating  an Islamic State. We are interested in creating vibrant Muslim communities around Masjids to establish PEACE in their locality.
This year we want to create a Masjid development Fund ( MDF ) for acquisition, development and running of  Masajid’s.  Our target is to raise £2M monthly for this cause.  We have a fundraising Model based on the crowdfunding principle.  We have the numbers and resources between us to do even better than £2m monthly, but this is where we want to start.  We are going to establish a model Masjid in an area that is not well serve by existing Masjid network in London, in sha Allah. We want to partner with Masjids and organisation, we are open to collaborative work.
